MISS TEEN TENNESSEE INTERNATIONAL™ 2009 PAGEANT 

AREAS OF COMPETITION:

FASHION RUNWAY MODELING 20% (of overall score)
The contestant's outfit should be something seen in the fashion industry. This should reflect your personality and be something that shows off your flair for fashion and style. No denim permitted.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW 40% (of overall score)
Interviews are individually conducted between each judge and contestant, there are 5 judges. Each contestant will have  5 minutes with each judge. Each contestant is required to have a platform, (something that the contestant has a passion for). No political or religious questions allowed, unless it pertains to the platform. Judges will be keeping in mind, accomplishments, family commitment, communication skills, community involvement, overall appearance. There is no comparative judging in this system. Dress for interview is business suit.
 
AEROBIC WEAR 20% (of overall score)
Aerobic wear is to be scored on physical fitness of the contestant. Each contestant will order her aerobic wear from  Pumpers.com. A number of styles and colors have been selected for you to chose from. All Teen contestestants will wear the 2-piece aerobic style outfit. Go to www.pumpers.com and use: SKU#  Tennessee
 
EVENING GOWN 20% (of overall score)
Contestants will select the evening gown of her choice. Evening gown will be scored on the self-confidence, poise, and grace the contestant presents in this phase of competition.
